Sun Block for windows
If you are looking to block the sun from coming in your home's windows here are a few tips.
First you can use sheets or blankets. It is the cheapest way, but not the best looking. Dark thick blankets or sheets will block out the sun for sure.
Another way is to use blackout curtains. This will be better looking than a sheet or blanket for sure. They also help block out the ultraviolet rays which can fade furniture.
Next is aluminum foil, this will completely block your view of the sun. You will need to tape the foil to the window, and face the shiny side in facing you. Also not the best looking, but it works
Shutters and awnings work great also. You can do these your self or have them done by a professional.
